Individuals who lose a job take the hardest hit and may experience a variety of emotions, from anger, shame, loss of confidence, and loss of a sense of identity.
Those that have lost their jobs may need to find other people and places where they can talk about it.
A number of meetings have been created by individuals and organizations in Elkhart County where people suffering economic dislocation can learn to share and deal with these emotions. These community groups will also strengthen our community in the future.
